It's been a long year.
We held the first ever Netroots Minnesota last November to start an important conversation about shaping the progressive agenda. Since then, we put our ideas into action during the legislative session and throughout the hotly contested gubernatorial election.
I'm proud to say that because of the hard work of the progressive community, we're going to seat the first progressive governor of Minnesota in over twenty years.

Scott Walker’s inauguration is fast approaching and he’s using the occasion to rake in campaign cash. On January 3rd he will be sworn into office, and unlike Democratic Governor Doyle, who donated his inaugural proceeds to charity, all the money raised at Walker's inaugural events will go to the Republican Party or Walker's campaign account.
